- Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate Margarita Vineyard in the Santa Margarita Ranch sub AVA of Paso Robles, CA
- Luscious black fruits with notes of cedar and graphite. A deep, layered palate of black currant, blackberry and blueberry with cherry, mint, vanilla, and toasted oak. Plump tannins and balanced acidity add structure to a richly integrated finish.
- Enjoy with richly textured dishes, including grilled pork chops, veal roast with mushrooms, stuffed eggplant, filet mignon with black olive sauce and Cabernet-braised short ribs.
- Cold-soaked prior to fermentation for a gentle extraction of initial color and flavor. After fermentation and light pressing, then aged up to 20 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
