This is a positive displacement diaphragm type gas meter rated for 212 SCFH (Standard Cubic Feet per Hour) of AIR This is equivalent to 264 CFH of Natural Gas, capable of measuring Natural Gas Burners and Appliances up to 264,000 BTU's Propane gas, capable of measuring LPG Propane Gas Burners and Appliances up to 436,000 BTU's Accuracy The Gas Meter odometer index can be read to 61 cubic inches . This means it can measure the gas usage of a pilot light on a furnace or water heater. Odometer index is much clearer to read than the old fashioned dial type . It can be installed in gas lines up to 7 PSIG of pressure. A typical Natural gas Line is 7" WC. A typical LPG gas Line is 11" WC. 27.6 " wc = 1PSI ............
