this tapestry is one of the six panels illustrating the story of the Holy Grail. The Failure of Sir Gawaine: Sir Gawaine and Sir Uwaine at the Ruined Chape. This tapestry was designed by Edward Burne-Jones and woven by Morris & Co. in 1895-96.The original is in the Metropolitan museum.
