John -Inch Dandy-Inch Rodriguez, Jr., son of respected Latin musician John Rodriguez, began performing as a teenager with Tito Puente. He later played with Tito Rodriguez in the 1960's and Ray Barrette and Tipica '73 in the 1970's, after which he rejoined Tito Puente's Orquesta on Bongo and Cowbell for a 37-year stint. He inspired a generation of musicians and his influence is still felt and heard today through his active career.
