Talisman test sieves are available in a number of sizes ranging from 40 to 200 mesh, 74 microns (.0029 inches) to 420 microns (.0165 inches). Refer to the table in images for details. Talisman only use the best 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh.
The Talisman test sieve body is molded from Polycarbonate which is extremely strong (250 times the impact resistance of glass) and rigid. It has high impact resistance and can cope with extreme temperatures up to 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
Polycarbonate is often described as having a smooth glass-like feel in contrast to the more 'plastic' and soft feel of PVC. Using high-grade polycarbonate gives a hardness and smoothness that makes cleanup easier.
