In this state of the art study, Pentecostal theologian Chris E.W. Green offers the most extensive investigation of the LordÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Supper in the Pentecostal tradition to date. Beginning with a comprehensive survey of previous literature devoted to the topic, Green next engages in a detailed examination of the early Pentecostal periodical literature in both the Wesleyan-Pentecostal and Finished Work streams of the movement in order to determine early Pentecostal attitudes toward, beliefs about, and practices of the sacraments in general and the LordÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Supper in particular.
