- The melting point of zinc is 419.5°C. At room temperature, it is brittle; at 100-150°C it becomes soft; at over 200°C it becomes brittle.
- The chemical nature of zinc is active. In air at normal temperature, a thin and dense basic zinc carbonate film is formed on the surface to prevent further oxidation. When the temperature reaches 225°C, zinc oxidizes violently.
- Suitable for musical instrument parts and musical instrument casings, coins and other materials. At the same time, zinc itself will not produce sparks with other metals, so it is suitable for underground explosion-proof equipment.
