The Hydronix 20" Big Blue Sediment Filter is a high quality equivalent to the Liquatec SDF-45-2001, Pentek DGD-2501-20, Watts FPMB-BB1-20, and many other brands. This 100% polypropylene filter contains graded density that provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. The 1 MICRON FILTER reduces waterborne contaminants like sand, silt, sediment and rust. The 20" Big Blue Hydronix Filter is resistant to chemicals and constructed with a coreless design.The filter is surfactant free, adhesive free and binder free. The true multi-stage depth filtration of this cartridge is ideal for residential, industrial, commercial and food service applications.

The Hydronix Big Blue Sediment Filter uses 4 separate layers of micron filtration, as the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles.
