Ernest Miller Hemingway was born on July 21st in a Chicago suburb. Much of his work bestrides the best literature of the 20th Century. Indeed 1954 saw him win the Nobel Prize for Literature. Classics such as A Farewell To Arms, The Old Man & The Sea and The Sun Also Rises are on most â€˜must readâ€™ lists. Ultimately his life spiralled out of his control and he committed suicide in the summer of 1961. Here we publish a small collection of his poems and 3 three short stories.
