300FT 1MM Braided Kevlar (Black)
Our Kevlar(R) Constrictor is superior because of its inherent low stretch and knot holding characteristics. No melting required simply tie an extra constrictor knot and trim it flush for a clean finish.
FIBER TYPE: 100% DuPont Kevlar(R) fiber with clear synthetic finish
DIA: 1mm LEN: 300 ft (91m) TENSILE TEST: 200lb (See important notes about tensile strength and appropriate applications in main description)
HEAT RESISTANT TO 900+F - Great parachute cord for model rockets, fire poi and sewing thread for welding garments.
SURVIVAL/TACTICAL/OUTDOORS: Fishing line, tent stays, snares and gear repairs. A small coil in your pocket saves the day in 1000 different ways.
After years of experience and thousands of bands tied we have found the perfect speargun band constrictor cord. Kevlar's ultra high strength, ultra low stretch and superior knot retention mean that once tightened, your constrictor knot will stay tight. Avoid the problems of knot creep or stretch inherent in other synthetic fiber cords. Near zero stretch allows the use of smaller, rubber-saving wishbone terminals. Forget melting the end of your constrictor to keep the knot from slipping out. For a clean finish you can tie an extra constrictor with the knot tails and trim the excess cord flush with the knot. Its high strength to weight ratio and toughness make it a great tactical/survival accessory for outdoor activity. With a nearly weightless small coil of this cord in your pocket you've got extra fishing line, tent stays, snare line, sewing thread or 1000 other ways to save the day. High heat tolerance (to 900+f), make it an excellent: paracord for model rockets; fire poi accessory; or thread for repairing welding apparel. This cord is braided from 100% Kevlar fiber made in the USA by Dupont and then is assembled and tested by a US defense contractor. Unlike some of our competitors, there is no fine print about fiber blending, braid components that are not Kevlar or generic substitution.
