Simply pull the loose end of rope to tighten as with the Original Series, then use the built-in ratchet handle or recessed socket drive on either side of the ratchet for additional tension to get those loads extra secure! To release, press Release tab and rotate ratchet handle back past ratcheting position and into release position to disengage tie-down. With the name Quickie Tie-Down comes a quality you can rely on and an easy, intuitive function. The 3/8" Ratcheting Rope Tie-down comes with specially formed S hooks and 12ft rope pre-installed. With a working load limit of 650 lbs, this is the strongest tie-down available that uses 3/8" rope.
