The Ely Cathedral design is one of the more unusual labyrinth patterns in the world. Created by Sir Gilbert Scott in 1870, this long and winding path meanders through various geometric designs on its journey to the center.
The paths are much too narrow for a finger to fit, so we provide a stylus, the pointed end of which fits inside the grooves for traversing this design.
This miniPath® is created out of a durable tan plastic HDPE material and comes complete with hand-painted stylus, drawstring carrying pouch and information/instruction card.
A miniPath, hand-held labyrinth, is a labyrinth design, carved in plastic or wood, that you trace with a stylus. It functions in much the same way as a full-size finger labyrinth, (to further relaxation, meditation and prayer) except that the user traces the path to the center using a stylus rather than their finger. For many, this combination of movement (tracing the path) with introspection (eyes closed), is a more relaxing way to meditate or pray. For those whose meditation or devotional practice seems demanding or sporadic, our miniPath labyrinths provide a unique way to bring renewed vitality and meaning to these activities. These designs are highly portable, easily fitting into a pocket, purse or briefcase. Easy to keep on your desk at work, or at home or anyplace where returning to relaxation and calm in the midst of stressful events is likely to occur.
