SMALL size diameter disposable otoscope specula that work well with our new Dr Mom LED 4th Generation and Dr Mom LED PRO model Otoscopes. These are what you want for infant and young children typically weighing less than 50lbs. Will also work well with older children with small ear canals or ear canals that are partially occluded with earwax and debris. Will work with standard Welch Allyn otoscopes but *** WILL NOT work with the Welch Allyn MACROVIEW model***. These are very high quality and fit our new Dr Mom LED 4th Generation and Professional model Otoscopes perfectly. Childrens ear canals vary considerably in diameter. Some adults also have very small ear canals. Earwax and debris also can narrow the canal. It is best to have both the large and small size specula available for both adults and children. You will want to use the largest specula you can with either group. Start with he large size on an adult and move down to the small if needed. Begin with the small in a child and move up to the large if possible.
