- Grooves on shelves to secure coins. Grooves provide a gripping at the bottom so the coins will not slide down flat. Coins stand slanted. It is NOT for the coins to insert and stand straight. The coins are NOT slant the same angle unless the thicknesses are the same. So, we do recommend putting coins of the same thickness on the same row. Coins are NOT inserted into the groove to stand. It is simply gripping at the bottom and slant toward the back.
