Benchmark Abrasives 7" diameter and 7/8" arbor aluminum oxide resin fiber discs are commonly used for surface preparation, blending, chamfering, paint or rust removal, etc.
These heavy stock removal discs are ideal for tough materials like metal & stainless steel. The strong and tough design of the discs provides consistent performance.
The surface finishing discs have heavy-duty vulcanized fiber backing and heat-treated phenolic resins for increased strength, durability, and tear resistance. The superior design of discs minimizes loading, glazing, and grain stripping.
High-performance resin fiber finishing discs are compatible with an angle grinder and should only be used with a backing pad and nut. Made of aluminum oxide grain that provides sharp and clean cuts.

Benchmark Abrasives Aluminum Oxide Resin Fiber Discs are designed for blending edges, seams and corners, weld grinding and deburring. They are made by electrostatically depositing grains of Aluminum Oxide on heavy duty vulcanized fiber backing with heat-resistant phenolic resins. These discs are resistant to heat, plus resistant to glazing and loading, and are excellent on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our fibre discs feature a full resin bond system with heavy-duty fibre backing for increased strength, durability and tear resistance. Manufactured to O.S.A. Safety standards., long life and high performance all come as standard.
