Less flammable than 99% IPA concentrations, 70% IPA holds 30% moisture content which yields less vapor and removes stubborn residue without becoming overly dry. 70% isopropyl alcohol solution kills most surface microorganisms by dissolving the plasma membrane of the cell wall, and is effective against most bacteria, fungi and some viruses (but not spores).
