Overview

Upgrade. With its compact size, optically correct output, thermally-modeled cooling, and boost-mode electrical circuit, the SL1 LED provides a true upgrade in performance. Add a modern appearance to your vehicle with these replacement LED bulbs. These bright LEDs are available in a 5700K cool white, to replace the factory yellowish incandescent bulbs.

Brightness. All Diode Dynamics LED lighting is rated with accurate, measured lumen figures, not calculations or guesses. We test the true output in-house, and provide you the real numbers to compare. The SL1 LED headlight bulb was engineered with advanced optical design software, to perfectly match filament location. This allows the SL1 LED to focus light just like an original bulb, preserving the focus and hotspot, with no added glare. It produces a functional beam pattern on the road, in compliance with photometric standards, for a safe, functional output, which we call Street Legal.

Reliability. Every part of the the SL1 LED was designed for reliability, from the high-temperature teflon wire, to the zinc castings, to the reinforced plastics. Diode Dynamics LEDs are built with constant-current inductive circuitry, along with transient suppression. While more expensive than simple bulbs, this allows Diode Dynamics LEDs to last for years, with no flickering or failure.
