About the Author:
Joseph T. Martin De Agar is a Professor at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, where he teaches Comparative State Law in Ecclesiastical Matters. Msgr. Martin de Agar is also an ecclesiastical judge in the Appellate Court of the Vicariate of Rome. He holds a doctorate in Civil Law and another in Canon Law from the University of Navarra in Spain, where he began his teaching career in 1975. He is the author of several other books and many articles in law and canon law publications.
