A Journey of a Thousand Smiles: A Dentist’s Guide to Oral Health

Dr. Eugene Antenucci was born in Queens New York in 1957, moving to Huntington Long Island in 1970. An Honors graduate with a BA in Sociology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he went on the earn his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Antenucci served as a Captain and Dental Officer in the United States Air Force for 3 years in Southern California, and from there returned to Huntington where he built one of the most respected practices on Long Island. Huntington Bay Dental earned many awards, being recognized as Business of the Year by the Town of Huntington, and as Practice of the Month by Dental Economics publication. Dr. Antenucci is well respected in the Dental industry, being looked upon as a Key Opinion Leader and Consultant for many dental corporations. He has served in Leadership roles for numerous local and national Dental Associations and Academies, most notably the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He has also served as Professor at New York University College of Dentistry as well as Stony Brook University, teaching both graduate and undergraduate students in dental school. He also lectures to dentists and dental staff internationally on topics ranging from the utilization of advanced technology in dentistry, the delivery of esthetic dental care, surgical and prosthetic implant care, as well as dental practice management, and he is a recognized expert in his profession. His current practice in Bay Shore NY, Bay Dental Health, is serving as a model for advanced dental care delivery on Long Island's South Shore.
Dr. Antenucci dedicates this book to his beautiful wife Karina, who provides the inspiration, happiness and balance in his life that makes everything meaningful.
