Dr. Craddock is Founder and Director Emeritus of The Craddock Center in Cherry Log, Georgia. A Taste of Milk & Honey is a compilation of his articles and stories that first appeared in the
Center's monthly newsletter, Milk & Honey, between early 2004 and September 2013.
Many of his stories about various individuals and events are quite poignant and unforgettable, while other stories are highly amusing, especially his "little chats" with several animals, including
a sparrow too fat to fly and a cranky old coon dog named Sally.
Widely recognized as a master storyteller and one of the best-known and most popular preachers in America today, Dr. Craddock is Bandy Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Preaching and New Testament, Candler School of Theology, Emory University.
Although ostensibly retired, Dr. Craddock retains an avid interest in all the Center's programs and is an active member of the Center's Board of Directors. He also continues to write a special story or article for each issue of the monthly newsletter.
Note: All proceeds from the sale of A Taste of Milk & Honey will go to support the programs of The Craddock Center.
