The unit comes with an USB power cable, but it still needs a 5V1A USB charger. If you don't have a USB charger to provide power, please do NOT purchase this item; get the H2STVs item, which comes with a power adapter. For example, when USB power is provided, it supports the newest MacBook Pro | iPhone | Kindle Fire HD | Chromecast.

It supports DVD players, cable box, PS3, XBOX, Roku XS player, and the new Wii U console, etc. For signal stability and best A/V quality, please always use USB power input to avoid possible video and audio problem. If it doesn't work (such as when you see the vertical test pattern), ALWAYS make sure to use a 5V1A USB charger to provide power.

Note: We have reports that this item may not support google nexus tablet and blackberry playbook, to be safe, don't purchase this for them.
