If you have ever stabbed your own finger trying to get a regular tester into a wire, you will appreciate the ABN Wire Piercing Circuit Tester. This device identifies short circuits, fuses, test connections, wiring harnesses, and more. It can be used in the shop to check wires when installing radios and brake controllers, on your camper to test which wires operate the tail lights, or any trailer wiring. Unlike typical testers, the hook design prevents you from stabbing your finger when placing the tester in a wire. It can be used as a probe on its own by removing the plastic sleeve that hooks the cable or as a probe and hook that pierces the wire. The 12-foot cord is insulated for heat and oil resistance and safe use. It includes thick gauge wire and a large alligator clip for grounding.
