- MADE OF HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS: a rigid frame will not allow the panel to bend over time, and even in five years the fixture will look exactly the same as the day it was installed. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDGE-LIT AND DIRECT-LIT PANELS (both are offered on Amazon): edge-lit panels have a smooth lens uniformly lit all over the surface, direct-lit panels have a prismatic lens and rows of LEDs instead of bulbs, looks like a regular fluorescent troffer.

Please note: dimming is optional, if this feature is not required the dimming wires can simply be capped off and the light will function on/off.
