The polymer-body variant of ASPâ€™s flagship Triad performance tactical flashlight family - built to be the finest, brightest, most advanced law enforcement lighting tools in the industry. The poly exterior, mated to an aluminum internal frame and wrapped with our exclusive foamed vinyl grip, is preferred by some users for its tactile comfort in cold weather. The Poly Triad USB incorporates Dual Fuel Technology, so you'll never be without a power source?it runs with either a rechargeable 18650 battery (included) or 2 CR123A primary (single use) cells (sold separately). The included battery charges inside the flashlight, using the supplied cord, or any micro USB phone/electronics charging cord?no separate battery charger needed. Premium components are identical to its aluminum-body Triad cousins: Cree XPG2 LED, gold-plated connectors, polished aluminum reflector and optical glass lens. In keeping with ASPâ€™s emphasis on intuitive design and simplicity in its law enforcement tools and training, activation of the Triad is via a single pressure switch on the tail cap. A quick "double tap" of the switch activates a secondary/low setting at 15 lumens. A 3-position twist selector allows choice of intermittent, constant-on, or locked. Includes a high-performance ASP rechargeable battery and retractable charging cord.
