Most above-ground pools and lot of older pools have 1.5" suction port which will not fit this cone adapter. Please measure the diameter of pool skimmer suction port for compatibility before you purchase this item.
- ** Buyers BEWARE: A 1.5-inch pool vacuum hose or the female side of a pool cleaner hose DOES NOT fit into this cone adapter directly. A double male hose connector like Hayward hose connector AXV092 is required to connect them together.
- This cone adapter DIRECTLY fits into 1.5" pool cleaenr regulator, male end of pool cleaner hoses. However, It DOES NOT directly fit into 1.5" pool vacuum hose, female end of pool cleaner hose. A double male hose connetor like Hayward hose connector AXV092 is required to connect them together.

This Skimmer Hose cone adapter (valve cuff) is designed help hold in the hose to the skimmer. Can also be used in a dedicated suction wall inlet as well. How to install: With the pump off, slightly push the valve cuff (cone adapter) into the skimmer suction port and install regulator valve with attached hose.
