The upper of the Adidas Energy Boost 2 is a construction of Engineered Stretch Mesh with techfit that work in conjunction to provide you with a secure snug fit and great ventilation. The specially constructed tongue and interior of the Boost 2 running shoe are designed with sweat wicking properties that help guide sweat away from your feet whilst you perform to help you stay cool and dry. This combination of a seamless and flexible techfitTM upper offers a more natural feel whereby the shoe moves with your foot for superb comfort. The addition of a TORSIONÂ® system in the running shoe along with Boost's energy-returning properties provide for excellent stability in the midfoot and light, fast energy that lasts through long miles. The angled heel design on the rear of the shoe works with the grippy adiWEARÂ® outsole which provide for an efficient stride through the runner's gate cycle to help provide for a more comfortable running experience. The midsole is made of adidas' new age cushioning, BOOST. This is designed to return energy to the foot on every step. Boost is a special type of foam which is much more responsive than standard EVA foam, this ultimately means you not only get shock absorbing qualities but also a much springier take off, propelling you forward - a lot more bounce for your buck.
