This authentic Mancala Oware game from Africa Heartwood Project consists of a hand-carved, folding and rounded wood playing board and 48 grey/green tear seeds. The design features artistic masks deep-carved into the exterior of the board, with the mancala pots in the center of the board. The board is the carrying case, so you dont need a bag it is all self-contained. The Osese wood is given 14 pits, connected with 2 hinges, and stained on the inside and outside with dark brown stain. When closed the board is 10"x8"x2". Open it is 20"x8"x1". Purchased and imported using fair-trade practices from cultural artisans who are part of the non-profit Africa Heartwood Project network.
