Agena 1.25" Wireless Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece with Focusable Dual Crosshair - 20mm

This 20mm premium 1.25" wide angle eyepiece includes an illuminated double crosshair reticle that greatly simplifies centering celestial objects in the eyepiece for more accurate go-to alignment and tracking. Unlike eyepieces with single line crosshairs, the edge-to-edge double line reticle in this eyepiece doesn’t obscure small targets when centered – they remain visible in the box created by the intersection of the two pairs of double lines.

Reticle illumination is variable. The reticle can be rotated to allow polar drift alignment for equatorial mounts and precision guiding for astrophotography. The 20mm focal length of this cordless eyepiece provides a wide 70° apparent view of the sky allowing you to find objects and alignment stars more easily than shorter focal length eyepieces.

Eyeglass wearers will appreciate the focusing mechanism that allows them to bring the reticle to a sharp focus. With the illuminator turned off, the eyepiece can be used like any other eyepiece for comfortable observing. Illuminator requires two SR-54 / LR-44 type batteries (included).
