German artist Albert Oehlen is closely associated with the Cologne art scene and Neue Wilde movement. This catalogue, which was published for his second solo exhibition, is a large fold-out poster designed by the artist that contains ten loose, unbound images of works that were on display, as well as the text of a conversation between Oehlen and British artist Nigel Cooke. If you want to read [the paintings] it doesn't say anything, explains Oehlen. It's slow and yet there are elements that you recognize. They transmit a feeling, a critical feeling. A perfect find for a collector of artists' books.
