Cathy Jordan's All The Way Home is the debut solo album by long time member of the multi-award winning Irish traditional band, Dervish. All The Way Home re-introduces traditional ballads Cathy has performed with family and friends since childhood, songs handed down through generations that Cathy would have heard from the earliest age. Her goal was to preserve the traditional methods with contemporary energy that would find the ground common to all generations. The album was produced in Sweden by acclaimed producer, multi-instrumentalist Roger Tallroth and features many of the most notable names in the folk world. All The Way Home reaches across generations and connects musical genres from traditional to classical to jazz and beyond. Every masterpiece is greater than the sum of its ingredients. One example is the ground-breaking, other-worldly production of Cathy's duet with Scottish singer-songwriter Eddi Reader of the traditional Eileen McMahon.
