Originally getting his start singing at his father s church in small-town America, Stone s intense passion for music was instantly ignited by the greats of soul music (Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin) and eventually by the confessional lyrical fashion of the 60's -70's singer/songwriters.

Since releasing his self-titled album digitally several months ago, Allen Stone has sold more than 16,000 units at iTunes completely independent of a label. ATO Records will now release Allen Stone's self-titled CD for the first time in physical records stores on July 31st. The album will also be released on vinyl for the first time along with a bonus 10' featuring exclusive new tracks.
