An origami box is something very simple but unique, which captures all the emotion of its maker. The pleasure to folding the paper is added to the satisfaction of making an object that is useful or can be gifted, establishing a connection between the maker and the receiver. With this in mind, the famous Japanese origamist Tomoko Fuse, has created 20 original designs that are exclusive to this book. The designs provide a variety of shapes; some easy, some more complex, but all can be created with a single sheet of paper. Often, the box's basic structure is embellished with accessories - a reinforced base or a partition - shaped with additional paper. It's fun to select the most suitable paper by keeping in mind how the object will be used, or the place and the people for which it is intended
