Set of 12 Stone Carving Chisels/Knives
The American Educational Talc Steatite Soapstone is a metamorphic rock composed mainly of talc with varying amounts of other minerals for studying rock and mineral properties in classroom demonstrations and experiments. This nonporous, nonabsorbent rock is soft enough to be carved, and is resistant to heat, acids, and alkalis. The sample weighs approximately 1kg and consists of one or more specimens. Soapstone is used in geology and other scientific applications as well as for carving and other artistic and practical uses.
