Andiamo: A true story of marijuana smuggling on the hi-seas
A true never-before-told story written by author Richard King. Mr. King devises a master plan to smuggle marijuana from Acapulco, Mexico to California on his beloved boat the Andiamo. These true events take place during one of the most interesting times in American history: The 1960s' - 1970s'.
In 1971 Mr. King's smuggling operation was quoted by Rolling Stone Magazine as "Biggest Pot Haul in American history."
Richard King is an author, entrepreneur, and adventurist. He is uniquely qualified to tell this amazing story—he lived it. He has smoked it, smuggled it, grown it, and sold it. He was involved in the marijuana business for the past 40 years, and has been retired from the business for the last eight years. He has been a sailor and builder of both powerboats and sailboats for over 40 years. He also built two seagoing vessels: a 40-foot ketch, and a 32-foot sloop.
