Angels Dining at the Ritz (D.S. Suzie Mountford Book 3)
The year is 1942 and the B17 Flying Fortresses have just lifted into the air, bound for Nazi-occupied Europe.
But the small town of Long Taddmarten has more to worry about than Hitler, Nazis, or bombs.
Someone has ruthlessly slaughtered barrister Max Ascoli, his wife, and eight-year-old son by blasting their faces off with a shotgun.
For D.S. Suzie Mountford, along with her boss and lover D.C.S. Tommy Livermore, the death of Ascoli brings back best-forgotten memories.
Two years earlier, murderous lunatic Golly Goldfinch nearly killed Suzie, and though Golly is locked away now, Ascoli was responsible for his reprieve from hanging.
Now, the deeper they dig, the more horrors and history Suzie and Tommy uncover…
The times may be dark for Europe, but the evil Suzie must face will be no less chilling.
‘Angels at the Ritz’ is the third gripping World War Two adventure featuring D.S. Suzie Mountford.
