Its single purpose is to relay tips and techniques learned the hard way over 40+ years to help you improve your skill at the two major factors most affecting your overall success: - Determining winners - Deciding what and how to bet The author leaves it to you to implement and potentially perfect the other major factor which determines whether you win or lose overall. That is, how to manage your money. Without a mastery of all three of these critical areas of our collective sport, weâ€™re all still doomed to hit a really big one on occasion and then proceed to give it all back over the next couple days. So, despite money management being critical to overall profitability, it is beyond the scope of this book. From here on, weâ€™ll only be dealing with how to get more of our value bets cashable. Handicapping, selecting and then betting on winning horses. In whatever wager you prefer. And we always have too many choices in that area. As well as many options outside the sport.
