Apache 98108462 3/4" x 14' Biofuel Farm Transfer Hose Assembly with Male x Male Crimped Fittings
Hose assembly for transferring gasoline, biodiesel B10 and B20, E85, diesel, kerosene, or oil
Nitrile synthetic rubber tube and cover for resistance to oil, solvents, abrasion, and weathering
Spiral synthetic yarn reinforcement for strength, with static wire for static dissipation, recommended for electric pumps
8" internal strain relief springs on each end to prevent kinking at the coupling
Two factory-installed 3/4" male NPT fittings for attaching to couplings or equipment
This Apache 98108462 biofuel transfer hose assembly has a 3/4"" inside diameter (ID), is 14' long, and is suitable for transferring gasoline, biodiesel up to B20, diesel, kerosene, or oil. The hose is recommended for electric pumps. The hose has a nitrile synthetic rubber tube and cover for resistance to oil, abrasion, and weathering, is reinforced with spirals of synthetic yarn for strength, and has a static wire that dissipates static electricity for safety during fuel transfer operations. The assembly includes two factory-installed 3/4"" male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded fittings for attaching the hose to couplings or equipment, and each end has an 8"" internal strain relief spring to prevent kinking at the coupling. This biofuel transfer hose assembly is suitable for use with an electric pump in a wide range of fuel transfer and dispensing applications. Industrial hoses transfer or convey air or liquid in hose systems. When selecting industrial hoses, use the STAMPED method to help determine the type of hose needed: S = Size (ID, OD, and length) T = Temperature (maximum and minimum temperatures of material being transported) A = Application (industry or process) M = Material (to be conveyed, type and concentration) P = Pressure (maximum working pressure) E = Ends (type of end connectors or couplings on hose) D = Delivery method (volume and velocity) The inside diameter of the hose must be adequate to keep pressure loss to a minimum and avoid damage to the hose due to heat generation or excessive turbulence. The hose must be capable of withstanding the minimum and maximum temperatures that occur within the hose system. Some applications require specialized oils or chemicals to be conveyed through the system. In this case, hose selection must ensure compatibility of the hose tube, cover, couplings and O-rings with the fluid used. Industrial hoses are used in systems such as air compressors, automatic manufacturing operations, aircraft controls, and tire installation in industries including agriculture, mining, road construction, firefighting, and aviation. Apache manufactures belts, hoses, and other molded rubber products. The company, founded in 1963, is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, IA.
