Aquapac VHF PRO Waterproof VHF Case (229)
PRO case with 3-way harness for hands-free operation
It's 100% waterproof. Tested to the IP68 standard, which means it'll withstand continuous immersion to a depth of 30 feet / 10 metres
The antenna design not only means it fits both L- and R-handed radios, but also creates an emergency grab handle (see Product Description below)
It's buoyant, it'll float safely if you drop it in the water
Full 5-year Warranty
This is the case you'll see used by lifeguards and mountain rescue teams. It comes supplied with a 3-way adjustable harness, and the case itself has 4 attachment points; it's designed so you can wear your radio comfortably whatever you're doing. It fits most handheld radios, whether with left- or right-hand antenna. The shape of the antenna area is designed so you can hang it on a hook and grab it quickly if you're in a rush for the lifeboat, or fish it out of the water easily with boat hook. You can use your radio normally through the case, it doesn't interfere with sound or radio signals. It will also protect your handset from dust, dirt and sand. And like most Aquapac cases it'll float if you drop it in the drink, making it a prudent investment to protect even handsets that are already waterproof. The AQUACLIP (a patented, ultra-secure, rustproof, plastic seal) opens and closes with a simple twist of two levers, and everything stays in one piece even when the clip is open. The case is made of a thin but remarkably tough PVC-free material called TPU, and is very light (4.2 ounces / 120 grams including the lanyard). The seams are high-frequency welded to form a super-strong bond. Aquapac have sold over 5 million of their waterproof cases since 1983, and have won the Queen's Award for Enterprise 3 times. Aquapac are based in London, but their products are to be found on every continent. The vast majority are made in the UK. People are trusting their valuables to their waterproofing, so their manufacturing needs to be of the very highest quality. Aquapac supply VHF radio cases to military forces and search & rescue services all over the world.
