Armenia & Nagorno Karabakh 1:250,000 Travel Map, waterproof, GPS-compatible REISE

This map is waterproof and tear-resistant, durable enough to survive time spent in the rucksack, pocket or on a restaurant table. It is double-sided to provide the best balance between a good scale and a convenient sheet size (size 100 x 70 cm / 39.5 x 27.5 in) with topographic and tourist information.

The map divides the country north / south with a good overlap between the sides. The map also shows Nagorno Karabakh, although its currently different status is indicated by inclusion of signs for "closed frontier crossings". All place names are shown in the Latin alphabet, with larger towns also in Armenian script.

Topography is indicated by light altitude colouring including plenty of names of mountain ranges, peaks and passes with heights, glaciers, etc. National parks and other protected areas are highlighted.

Road network includes selected unpaved seasonal tracks and gives driving distances on main routes. Railway lines are shown and local airports are marked. Symbols highlight various places of interest including UNESCO World Heritage sites, archaeological remains, religious buildings, beaches, winter sports area, etc.

In addition to the international borders, internal administrative boundaries are also marked.

The map has a latitude and longitude grid at 15' intervals, plus an extensive index of localities. Map legend is in English, German, French and Russian; high quality German cartography.
