- USABILITY – For cutting stranded wire rope also known as aircraft cable, seismic cable, electric cable, structural cable, railing, decking, fences or bicycle brake cable.
- PERFORMANCE – Cuts up to 3/16” (5mm, 4AWG) steel, copper, aluminum stranded cable. No frayed cuts, no fanning, splaying or squashing / flattening under pressure. Blades are very sharp and shear wire cleanly and easily. Beats competition on number of cuts made and cutting force required. Unlike other wire cutters the cuts are clean without fraying or flowering.
- CAPACITY – These wire cutters can cut steel wire rope 3/16"(5mm), aircraft cable 3/16"(5mm), copper and aluminum Cable 15/64"(6mm), soft wire rope 1/4"(6.5mm), 7x7 stainless steel cable and more.
- CONSTRUCTION – Blades are made of high-carbon steel from Japan, are induction hardened to provide a clean cut; blades hardened to HRC 60-62 for strength and durability. A safety lock is provided for protection. The tang runs long into the handles for efficient force transfer. The pivot point allows adjustment of tension.
- FEATURES – Swing lock mechanism for safety through one hand operation. Spring loaded to reduce hand fatigue. The asymmetric grip is a unique feature that compliments how a hand grips naturally – ergonomically.
These wire rope cutters are designed specifically to cut medium hard wire rope and cables, up to 6.3/32" (5mm) in diameter, neatly and accurately with minimal force. It will cut stranded wire rope and copper / aluminum electric cables. It does not leave a frayed cut and lends itself to precision cuts in many applications. The blades are made of high carbon alloy steel from Japan and undergo proprietary manufacturing process to harden the cutting blades edges (HRC 60 - 62) needed for strength & durability. The slim design, long handles for its size and opening spring makes it a very powerful and comfortable cutting tool. The asymmetric handle design and its ergonomic shape provide a feel of natural grip requiring less force with higher mechanical advantage. The handles are padded with soft material for comfortable use & nice grips.
