"The Ascension: The Sequel" is a new recording written and recorded in 2009 and released in 2010. This recording is for the same instumentation of four guitars, bass and drums as was the original Ascension that was released in 1981. The pieces on this cd are: "The Tone Row That Ruled The World", "Carbon Monoxide", "Quadratonic", "Lesson No. 3 (Tribute to Steve Reich)", "The Blood" and "Lost Chords"
It was recorded and mixed by James Farber in the same studio and the same room as the original Ascension. The cover is also by Robert Longo who did the cover for the original Ascension.
