At Home was recorded live in 2014 at the Jazz in Marciac festival. The show was part of a 45-day tour initiated by the meeting of Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca and Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara at a small studio in Paris. The two musicians found they shared the same outlook, and within a few minutes of meeting, the smiles began to flow. There were many magic moments to follow, as Roberto's spirituality and Fatoumata's sensitivity blended into an awesome sound that goes straight to the heart. On tour around Europe, the seven people in the group made it their mission to discover the Mali in Roberto and the Cuba in Fatoumata. This special album displays the talents of two artists who, for a time, ceased to be two and became one.
