Crafted from British military spec steel, the hand-forged blade of the M-1860 Light Cavalry Saber offers exceptional flexibility, bending over 20° and returning to true. Its curved design is expertly crafted for both penetration (thrust) and slashing maneuvers.
Featuring a robust solid brass guard and pommel, complemented by a wood grip wrapped in a combination of leather and brass wire.
Complete with a sturdy steel scabbard adorned with hanging rings, this legendary sword pays homage to the unyielding courage displayed at historic battles such as Antietam, Manassas, and Gettysburg.
Our reproduction is hand made and ready for use. The hand forged blade of the M-1860 Light Cavalry Saber is British military spec steel that will flex over 20 degrees and return to true. Leather handle is wire wrapped. Curving blade is superbly designed for penetration (thrust) and as a slashing weapon. A stout steel scabbard completes this legendary sword.
