Every home should have one or even two! Directions for Use: Forehead Temperature Readings: Install the batteries, and power on. Hold the thermometer and point the device to the forehead, then press the measurement key directly and keep pressing down while scanning the forehead until the buzzer beeps. The temperature will display on the LCD screen. Very Important: To change the setting from C to F, you need to take the batteries out and put them back, then push and keep holding the MEM button for 3-5 seconds, release the button when you see "-- C" sign, press the MEM button again and the sign will change to "-- F". You have to do this every time you change the batteries. Ear Temperature Readings: Take off the mode conversion cover, and then put on the ear probe cover. Gently insert the probe into the ear. Press the measuring key and hold in the ear until the buzzer beeps The temperature will display on the screen. Note: Make sure that the probe cover is taken off and converted to the Ear and Ambient Measuring Mode. |
