The J. S. Bach Foundation is performing the complete vocal works of Johann Sebastian Bach over the course of around 25 years. Each month, one of Bachs over 200 cantatas is performed in the town of Trogen, in Switzerlands idyllic canton of Appenzell. Bach Kantaten NÂ°3 contains three cantatas: Bereitet die Wege, bereitet die Bahn! (Make ready the pathways, make ready the road!), Cantata BWV 132; Geist and Seele wird verwirret (Soul with spirit is bewildered), Cantata BWV 35 and Wie schÃ¶n leuchtet der Morgenstern (How beauteous beams the morning star), Cantata BWV 1.
