On Balance, Grammy-nominated cellist, David Darling and fellow musicians harness the healing power of song with lush instrumentation and composition. Cello, piano, glass harmonica, bells, flutes, guitar and soft percussion combine to create a naturally soothing ambiance that allows listeners to escape from their surroundings and experience total relaxation.

Maverick cellist, composer, film scorer and internationally acclaimed recording artist David Darling has recorded and performed with such diverse artists as Bobby McFerrin, Spyro Gyra, Paul Winter, Peter Kater and R. Carlos Nakai. David is also the Artistic Director of Music for People, an organization that promotes self-expression through music and improvisation.
