- THIS LARGER SIZED BAMBOO FOUNTAIN DOES NOT COME WITH THE PUMP. The tubing included with the bamboo fountain is 5/16" (8 mm) inside diameter. Ideally, the best pumps to use would be somewhere in the range of 120 to 160 GPH. Note that if your pump only comes with a 1/2" adapter, you can normally fit a small length of tubing snugly over the 5/16" tubing and then onto your pump.
