In their most desperate hour, fifteen knights of Castle Stalwart volunteered to spend their lives in an effort to protect the nation. The potion gave them superhuman battle prowess, at the cost of burning out their bodies before sunset. The battle was won, the threat ended, and the six surviving knights closed their eyes knowing that theyâ€™d saved their people.

They opened them to a new world, one that found them slowly changing in ways that they could never have imagined. Soon they found that the creator of the potion was correct: their lives were over, replaced with new ones that brought new challenges.

The six of them find that their greatest challenge lies not with their changing bodies, but with the fact that they are still, deep down, knights. When their new home comes under attack, they must learn to use their altered bodies as a new kind of weapon to battle a threat that would have been unimaginable mere days before.
