Our Deluxe Helmet Ear Pad Inserts are made to fit in DOT half of shorty style motorcycle Helmets. These ear pads are the perfect solution to protecting your ears from cold, wind and noise! Our Ear pad inserts fit a wide range of DOT helmets with a Y style helmet strap. Better DOT helmets use the stronger and more comfortable Y Helmet strap harness design. Y helmet straps attach to the helmet in two spots to form a Y on each side of the helmet. These ear pads have a 2'' insert tab which is designed to slip between the DOT helmet shell and the helmet liner. The outsides of the ear pads come with Velcro strips which attach to the inside of helmet's Y straps. Will work with cloth covered Y straps or you can attach a self adhesive piece of Velcro (included) to Y straps which don't have cloth covered straps. The inside of the ear pads have a comfortable padding which is designed to fit around the ears and help protect from wind and cold weather. We also include 2 Velcro strips which can be used with small optional flat audio speakers. When you install optional speakers in the ear pads you will be able to listen to music while riding!. Overall size of ear pads are 5 1/2" wide x 6"high x 1" deep. Insert Tab is 2.5" wide x 2" high. These ear pads are very comfortable to wear and would make a great addition to your riding gear.
