New wave rock artist Paul Collins formed The Beat in the late 1970's and issued numerous albums throughout the 1980's. Their first two albums were The Beat & The Kids Are The Same, originally issued on Columbia Records in 1979 & 1982 respectively. This Wounded Bird 2-on-1 reissue features 2 bonus tracks 'There She Goes' & 'Down'. 2005.
